What are CBD gummies?

A CBD gummy is a chewable sweet-style piece made with a measured amount of CBD. Ours use broad-spectrum CBD distillate from hemp in a pectin-based gummy. The amount is set per piece, so there is no dropper to read and no capsule to swallow.

In the UK, CBD gummies are sold as food supplements for adults. They are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. A sweet flavour doesn’t make them an ordinary sweet. Keep them out of reach of children and follow the label. People sometimes search for “hemp gummies” as well. A hemp gummy only contains CBD if the label says so, because hemp seed ingredients and CBD extract are different things. Read the ingredients to see what you are buying.

How do CBD gummies compare to oil and capsules?

All three formats contain CBD. The main differences are practical: how you take them, how they taste and how the amount is shown on the label.

• Gummies: a set amount per piece, flavoured and chewable. They include sugars and other food ingredients, so read the full ingredient list.
• CBD oil and drops: you measure the amount per drop or per ml, as shown on the label. This suits people who are happy to read a dropper and don’t mind the taste.
• CBD capsules UK: a pre-measured capsule swallowed with water, with no taste.

No format is automatically better than another. The right choice comes down to how you prefer to take a food supplement, the ingredients you want to avoid and what is in stock. If you like the idea of a flavoured format, see our CBD edibles range for related food-format listings (stock may match the gummies SKU).

What to check on the label (CBD per piece, ingredients)

The label tells you more than the front of the pack. Check these points before you choose:

1. CBD per gummy vs per pack. Our listing states 10 mg CBD per gummy, 30 gummies and 300 mg per bottle. A large pack total is not the amount in one piece.
2. Directions. Follow the label for how many to take. The FSA advises healthy adults to keep CBD from food supplements to no more than 10 mg a day. This is general safety advice, not a personal dose. If you are unsure, take medicines, are pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to a pharmacist or doctor first.
3. Full ingredients. The current label lists: Sugar, Glucose Syrup (from Wheat), Water, Pectin, Lactic Acid, CBD Distillate, Flavourings, Colours: Chlorophyllins, Lutein, Beetroot Red.
4. Allergens and dietary needs. Check the live label for allergen and dietary information that matters to you. Don’t assume every gummy is sugar-free or suitable for every diet.

Lab testing and batch information

CBD Armour publishes batch lab reports. Each report covers only the sample and tests it names, so match the product and batch details to your pack. If the report for your batch isn’t listed, you can ask us for its Certificate of Analysis (CoA). Our guide to how to read a CBD certificate of analysis explains what the cannabinoid results show.

A CoA is a quality and transparency document. It confirms what a lab measured in a sample. It is not evidence that a product has any health effect.

When you read a gummies CoA, look for the product name and batch number, the date of testing, the CBD result and the other cannabinoids measured. Then check that the figures are consistent with the CBD per gummy shown on the label. Because a gummy is a food matrix, results can be reported per gram or per piece, so read the units carefully. If something doesn’t match or isn’t clear, contact us before you buy.

How to choose CBD gummies in the UK

People often search for the “best CBD gummies UK”, but “best” means little without a stated way of comparing. These checks are more useful:

• Clear labelling: CBD per piece, number of pieces, pack total and directions are all easy to find.
• Batch transparency: a current CoA you can match to your batch.
• Full ingredients and allergen information on the label and the product page.
• The right category: sold as a food supplement for adults, with no promises to treat, cure or fix anything. Treat any gummy marketed with health claims with caution.
• A seller you can contact: CBD Armour has sold CBD in the UK since 2017 from Birmingham, and we answer label questions.
• Price per mg: compare the cost per mg of CBD as well as the price per pack.

FAQs

What are CBD gummies?

How much CBD is in each gummy?

Our current listing states 10 mg CBD per gummy, with 30 gummies (300 mg) per bottle. Always check the live label for your batch, and follow its directions.

Are CBD gummies the same as CBD oil or capsules?

No. They are retail food supplements for adults and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Follow the label, and speak to a pharmacist or doctor if you are unsure or take medicines. Nothing on this page is medical advice.

Are CBD Armour gummies for sleep?

No. We don’t position or market these gummies for sleep or any other health purpose. They are a CBD food-supplement format for adults. For general questions, see Is CBD legal in the UK?
