We like shrimp, or should we say we love shrimp! From the popular Grilled Shrimp to the easy buttered sautéed shrimp, we love shrimps in all forms.
This recipe is so easy to prepare and results in the crunchiest fried shrimp. It also has the same flavor as the shrimp you would order at a restaurant, but for a fraction of the price!

- 1 lb raw jumbo shrimp (or large)
- Oil for frying (light olive or vegetable oil)
- 2 teaspoon of CBD Oil
- 1 lemon, optional
- Combine the ingredients in each bowl.
- Dredge the shrimp in bowl 1, then bowl 2, and finally bowl 3.
Steps To Follow:
Before starting the recipe, you need to make sure that the shrimp are completely thawed. Frozen shrimp will not work for this recipe.
Step 1: Peeling And Deveining The Shrimps
Holding the tail (end of the shrimp), peel the legs and shells. Then, devein the shrimp with a sharp knife by making a cut in the middle of the back where the black intestine is. Remove the vein and clean the shrimp with a paper towel or rinse with cold water and then pat dry.
Step 2: Coating and Covering the Shrimps
For the crispiest shrimp, be sure to start with dried shrimp. Start by adding the flour in the first bowl, the beaten eggs in a second bowl, add 2 teaspoons of CBD Oil and the remaining ingredients in the bowl. Completely coat the shrimp with the flour mixture.
Next, dredge the egg mixture, allowing any excess mixture to drain off.
Finally, top the shrimp with the seasoned breadcrumb mixture.
Step 3: Frying Shrimps
Shrimp don't take long to cook, so make sure you have your side ready before you start frying the shrimp.
Add approximately 1/2 of oil to an oven or any skillet with a thick bottom. If you want to fry the shrimp, you will need to add about 3 tablespoons of oil.
Heat the oil over medium heat, once hot, add the shrimp to the skillet and cook about 2 minutes per side until the shrimp are crisp. Don't overload the pan, cook in a few batches, and don't overcook the shrimp.
If you are going to make it in an oven, make sure to fry the shrimp for 2 minutes per side, until crisp. (Fry in batches and do not overcrowd the pan.)
Transfer the fried shrimp to a plate lined with a few pieces of paper towels and drizzle the shrimp with fresh lemon juice (optional) and serve with cocktail sauce.
