Baking the Cherry Cake Easy Recipe
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat the oven to 180ºC (medium temperature). Grease a removable bottom pan (22 cm in diameter approximate) with butter and spray using wheat flour.
Step 2: Add Ingredients to an Electric Mixer
In an electric mixer, add the caster sugar, eggs, and 2 tablespoons of Black Cherry Flavored CBD oil (you can simply add basic CBD oil too) and beat at a higher speed for a maximum of 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, remove the bowl from the mixer and add the vanilla extract to the cream.
Step 3: Add the Sieved Ingredients to the Cream
Add the sieved ingredients to the cream and mix gently. Be careful not to mix too much, as the dough of your cherry cake may lose its lightness.
Step 4: Place the Dough in the Oven
Transfer the dough to the greased and floured pan and place it in the preheated oven. Bake for 20 minutes or until well risen and golden brown. To check if it is baked, stick a toothpick in the center of the cake. If the toothpick comes out clean, the cherry cake is ready.
Remove the cherry cake from the oven and let it cool.
Step 1: Make Whipped Cream
In a mixer, put the fresh cream and beat at high speed for 3 minutes or until the point of whipped cream. Be careful not to beat too much, as the cream can turn into butter and ruin your cherry cake.
Step 2: Get Cherries and Chocolate Ready
Separate eight cherries for decorating the cake with black cherries. With a small knife, cut the remaining cherries in half. Then, in the thick drain, scrape the dark chocolate to decorate your cherry cake. Reserve the rest.
Step 3: Cut the Cake Horizontally
Remove the side of the removable formwork. Cut the cake in half horizontally. To do this, cut a piece of wire slightly larger than the diameter of the cake, hold one end in each hand, contour the cake with the wire, and cross, pulling slowly until you cut a layer.
Transfer one half of the cake to a shallow plate. With the help of a spoon, pour half the cake on the plate with the reserved syrup.
Step 4: Cover the Bottom Half With Whipped Cream
Using a spatula, spread ⅓ of the whipped cream over the cake drizzled with the syrup. Spread the cherries over the cream and cover with the other half of the cake. Then sprinkle with the rest of the syrup.
Reserve some cream for the decoration and cover the cake with the remaining cream.
Step 5: Spread Whipped Cream Around Your Cake
To cover, place a spoon full of whipped cream on the cake and spread with a spatula. When spreading the icing, always follow the same direction to prevent cake crumbs from staining the cream. Using the spatula, cover the side of the cake, spreading it in the same direction.
Step 6: Decorate Your Cherry Cake
Take a full hand of chocolate chips with one hand and stick to the entire side of the cake. Do this quickly, as the heat from your hand melts the chocolate.
Using a spoon, spread the remaining cream in a pastry bag. To decorate, lightly mark the surface of the cake with a spatula, as if you were going to cut it into 8 equal pieces.
Then, take the pastry bag and make eight roses on the surface of the cake, close to the edge. To make the roses, hold the pastry bag with an inclined hand, support the pastry tip gently at one point and make a circular motion with the help of your hand and form a small-sized spiral.
Carefully place the whole reserved cherries (or glace cherries) on every whirl made with cream. Now keep the cake in the refrigerator and keep it there until it is time to serve.
You can decorate it with chocolate curls and fresh cherries (or glace cherries) and enjoy this cake!
