Everybody knows that CBD has anti-anxiety properties and as per some new researches CBD can also aid in weight loss. Smoothies are a good way to consume food when you are trying to lose weight as you know exactly what goes into it and in what quantity.

So here’s how you can make yourself a glass of smoothie. We have shared our two most favorite recipes. One that has greens in it and the other one that has got a lot of fruits, to beat the summer heat.

Green CBD Smoothie Recipe:

Preparation Time and Servings:

Ingredients:

Fruits:

  • 1 pear
  • 1 apple
  • 1 bowl of seedless grapes

Other Ingredients:

  • 3 kale leaves
  • 1  bowl of spinach leaves
  • 1 tbsp  chia seeds
  • 2 cups of ice cubes
  • CBD oil, as per the prescription

Steps To Follow:

Peel The Skin

Start by peeling and removing the skin of apple and pear. The easiest way to peel the skin is by using a vegetable peeler or by using a Y-shaped peeler. You can even peel the skin by blanching. For this, boil some water and let the apple rest in it for about 30 seconds. After that let it soak in ice-cold water for 60 seconds, the skin will loosen and slips off easily.

Chop Up All Ingredients

Now take those peeled fruits, kale leaves, and spinach leaves and chop all of them with a sharp knife. Make sure that you dice the leaves properly it won’t blend easily if they are of big size.

Blend It 

Add all the chopped vegetables and fruits into the mixer and blend it for about 2 minutes or until the paste is smooth. At this stage, add the CBD oil into it. Add some chia seeds and ice into it and give this smoothie a good blend so that everything is incorporated well into it.

Serve It    

Pour it into a glass and serve chill.

CBD Pink Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients:

Fruits/vegetables: 

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup of frozen raspberries
  • 2 beetroots

Other Ingredients:

  • ½ cup greek yogurt
  • 1 cup of water 
  • ½ cup ice cubes
  • CBD oil, as per the prescription
  • 1 tbsp of hemp seeds

Steps To Follow: 

Get The Ingredients Ready

Peel the fruits and chop the beetroot into small pieces.

Blend It

Now take a blender and slowly and gradually add all ingredients one by one into it. Blend it for about 1 minute or until you get a smooth paste.

Add CBD oil

Now after you have mixed all the ingredients, add the CBD oil to it and give it a quick mix

Serve Chill

Garnish your drink with some chia seeds on top as they are known for their metabolism-boosting capabilities.
